The Colleton Medical Center Patient Visitation Policy is outlined below. Visitors must wear a mask and check-in at the Main Entrance to receive a visitor’s badge. The badge must be worn/visible throughout the duration of the visit.

Non-Isolation Patient Visitation 

  • Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Weekends and Holidays, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM 

COVID-19+ and Isolation Patient Visitation 

With strict isolation protocols in-place to slow the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases, virtual visitations are available for isolation patients. 

Emergency Department

Emergency Department patients may have two visitors throughout their stay in the Emergency Department. If the patient is admitted, visitors should follow the above mentioned visitation guidelines. 

Labor and Delivery 

Labor and Delivery patients may have one visitor during delivery and two visitors during normal visitation hours, as outlined above.

Behavioral Health 

Visitation hours for Behavioral Health patients are as follows- 

  • Monday, Friday, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM and 6:00 PM - 6:30 PM
  • Weekends and Holidays, 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM and 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM 

All Behavioral Health visitors must provide the patient’s name and corresponding 4-digit code. 

Outpatient Care 

Individuals receiving outpatient care may be accompanied by two visitors during their care. 

End-of-Life 

Special arrangements will be made on a case-by-case basis for End of Life visitations.
