Colleton Medical Center is pleased to announce the promotion of Mrs. Libbi Myers to the Vice President of Quality.
Myers has been a valuable member of the Colleton Medical Center Team since December 2021. Before accepting the VP of Quality position Myers served as the ICU Director. Prior to joining Colleton Medical Center, Myers served in multiple roles at The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg & Calhoun Counties including director of trauma & EMS relations and director of organizational development.
“With the retirement of our previous Vice President, Libbi is a great choice to step into this role,” said Jimmy Hiott, CEO. “Libbi is a team-oriented professional that understands quality and regulatory management. We are excited to see her continued growth.”
In her new role as VP of Quality, Myers directs, plans, coordinates and evaluates a comprehensive program to improve clinical outcomes, enhance value, and minimize patient harm. Myers oversees all aspects of the quality program, including quality measurement, external reporting, quality improvement, and high reliability.
Myers was born at Colleton Medical Center and now resides on a dairy farm in Bowman with her husband Pat. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University and a Master in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina.
