Colleton Medical Center welcomes Dayton Strader as the new VP of Operations.

Prior to joining Colleton Medical Center, Strader served as the Associate Administrator at Doctors Hospital of Augusta, where he led and implemented several successful projects positively impacting patient care.

“We are excited to welcome him to the Colleton Medical Center family,” says Jimmy Hiott, CEO. “Dayton is highly motivated and understands hospital operations and management. We look forward to celebrating his many contributions to Colleton Medical Center.”

In his role as the VP of Operations, Strader provides coordinated leadership of the Facilities Department, Pharmacy, Laboratory, Environmental Services, Food and Nutrition Services, and Imaging, Cardiology, and Respiratory.

Strader, a Richmond, Virginia native, has been recognized as an Emerging Leader by HCA Healthcare and is an active member of the “Save the Bay” and “Race to Erase MS” foundations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management with a collateral degree in International Business from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Health Administration from Virginia Commonwealth University. When not at work he enjoys cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, traveling, and spending time with family, friends, and his two border collies, Mac and Ria.
