Colleton Medical Center welcomes Walterboro native, Libbi Myers, as the new director of critical care.

Prior to joining Colleton Medical Center, Myers served in multiple roles at The Regional Medical Center of Orangeburg & Calhoun Counties including director of trauma & EMS relations and director of organizational development.

“We are thrilled to welcome Libbi home to Colleton Medical Center,” says Jimmy Hiott, CEO. “Libbi’s passion for patient safety and quality improvement coupled with her strong desire to mentor future leaders makes her perfect for her new role. We are excited to see her passion in action.

Chief Nursing Officer, Missy Feather, echoed Hiott’s comments adding “Libbi is a shining example of what it means to be a servant leader. It is crucial that we have the right person in this role to care for critical patients and their families. Libbi is that person.”

Myers was born at Colleton Medical Center and now resides on a large dairy farm in Bowman, South Carolina with her husband Pat. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Clemson University and a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the Medical University of South Carolina. When not caring for critical care patients like family, she enjoys cheering on the Clemson Tigers, traveling, and making specialty milk products at her family farm.
